There are a number of events happening this month, in honor of Earth Day, and alot of them are benefIting Global Green USA. From online webcasts to cocktail events, there is something for everyone!

MONDAY, APRIL 12 - SUNDAY, APRIL 18: Support Global Green on eBay

Do you use eBay? Did you know you can help us when you buy and sell?  Global Green USA will be featured in eBay checkout April 12th – 18th. When you shop anywhere on eBay and pay with PayPal this week, you can donate as little as $1 to our cause when you see us in checkout. When you sell on eBay, you’ll also see Global Green featured when you create a listing this week. You can donate 10-100% of your final sale price to benefit our organization.

TUESDAY, APRIL 13 - MONDAY, APRIL 19: Help Public Classrooms in Need

Bing is giving people donations to help public classrooms in need! Students use the Bing homepage as a way to explore and learn about the world, so Bing is celebrating kids’ education and Earth Day by giving people who vote in their Earth Day Photo Contest a $5 donation for DonorsChoose.org. Just be one of the first 20,000 voters per day and you will receive the $5 donation to use for the classroom project of your choice. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21 - SUNDAY, MAY 2: Into the Cold featured at Tribeca Film Festival

With the vast arctic ice vanishing rapidly, photographer, environmental advocate, and Global Green Board member Sebastian Copeland sets out with fellow extreme adventurer Keith Heger to reach the North Pole. The result is their documentary Into the Cold. Their journey is timed to mark the centennial of Robert Peary and Matthew Henson accomplishing the same remarkable feat. "There won't be a bicentennial," Copeland warns. Climate change, he says, is thinning the winter ice that covers the Arctic Ocean, threatening all the life around it. FIND OUT MORE HERE.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21 - SUNDAY, MAY 2: RARE by Ruth Roche/Pureology Salon

THURSDAY, APRIL 22: Green Lounge Earth Day Fundraiser in Santa Monica

On Earth Day, Mike Sullivan’s Lexus Santa Monica presents Nicole Sherwin's Green Lounge Eco Luxury Experience, an eco-luxurious Buddha Bar style ultra lounge and eco shopping experience to benefit Global Green USA and will be honoring celebrities, leaders and advocates in the environmental, wellness and philanthropic arenas. The event will feature eco luxury brands, DJ Beau spinning the latest Buddha Bar style lounge music, performances by renowned Australian jazz/blues singer Yasmine, Cirque du Soleil style performances by American Acrobats, eco cocktails, organic tastings and specially prepared appetizers infused with TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) food for well-being by private Chef Raphael Gammon. THURSDAY, APRIL 22: South Florida Green Drinks Fundraiser

South Florida Green Drinks will be hosting it’s First Annual Eco-Lifestyle Gala & Fashion Show on Earth Day at the historic and green landmark hotel, The Boca Raton Resort & Club in Boca Raton, Florida. Hosted by social and environmental advocate, model and celebrity Lauren Bush who will speak about her global efforts to effect world change through her well-known organic cotton “FEED” bag, which all attendees will receive. Fifty percent of the proceeds from the event will support Global Green’s mission, and 50 percent will support funding for the Greener rebuilding of Haiti in partnership with the Office Depot Foundation.

THURSDAY, APRIL 22: The Giving Tree Band Gives to Global Green

The Giving Tree Band – the “Greenest band in the land,” according to Mother Earth News – are celebrating Earth Day with a fire sale of their previous two full-length albums with 50% of proceeds going to Global Green. The band, based out of Yorkville, IL, will also perform at the University of Chicago's Earth Day Festival on the April 23. They are well known for their eco-friendly efforts. Not only are a number of their instruments made from naturally fallen trees and reclaimed wood, but their second full-length album Great Possessions was recorded with 100% solar-energy at the Aldo Leopold Legacy Center in Baraboo, WI. In celebration of Earth Day, they are launching a fire sale of their past two full-length albums. Unified Folk Theory will sell for $4.99, and Great Possessions for $3.99, or both for $6.99 online.

SATURDAY, APRIL 24: The Antarctica Challenge: A Global Warning

The Antarctica Challenge: A Global Warning is a one-hour documentary that will go to the source of the climate change crisis: Antarctica. Here we will explore first-hand the environmental challenges facing that frozen continent and, by extension, the world. In honor of Earth Day, the film will be screening at the Beverly Hills HD Film Festival on Satuday, April 24 at 6:30 PM at the Wilshire Screening Room, 8670 Wilshire Blvd, #112, Beverly Hills, CA 90211. Admission is $12.
