A workshop on the 'Valero' initiative and other threats to the future of California's Climate Change Policies
California’s visionary climate change programs are facing a well funded and extremely powerful attack that can be expected to culminate in a November ballot initiative that will ask the public to delay implementation of the AB 32 timeline until the state’s unemployment rate drops to 5.5%. This workshop will discuss the implications of this and other attacks on environmental programs both locally and nationally, and will discuss how strategists and environmental leaders are addressing them. The event will have a substantial audience participation, so please come prepared to join in the discussions.
