This will be a multi-organizational gathering featuring Solar, Wind, Biofuel and other green product exhibits. There will be roundtable discussions about the BP oil spill crisis and what we can do today to reduce our dependence on petroleum products. Half of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Global Green for their oil spill relief efforts in the Gulf of Mexico.
Participating organizations include: Habitat For Humanity, Breathe LA, The Trust For Public Land, Build It Green, Transition Initiative San Fernando Valley, and Planet Lunchroom. According to organizers, no biofuels company or organization has stepped forward to offer participation, compared to ready support offered by the solar and wind industries.”
