Global Green USA celebrated its 15th Annual Millennium Awards at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica, California on Saturday, June 4, 2011. The honorees on hand to accept the 2011 awards: Mark Ruffalo (Entertainment Industry Environmental Leadership), Ed Begley, Jr. (Individual Environmental Leadership), Mary Leslie and Brad Cox (California Environmental Leadership), and Wendy Schmidt (Community Environmental Leadership).
The Millennium Awards honor those whose lives and livelihood embody Global Green’s mission of fostering a global value shift toward a sustainable and secure world. Among the 350 guests at the event were celebrity guests and presenters Kyra Sedgwick, Kevin Bacon, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christopher Guest, Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr, Adrian Grenier, Armyan Bernstein, and Sharon Lawrence. Proceeds from the gala help fund Global Green’s programs, advocacy and educational campaigns over the course of 2011.
