Conversation with NOLA100
This coming Friday, October 17, the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is hosting a conversation with Keith Canfield and Tammy Agard of NOLA100 at the offices of Global Green.
NOLA100 is an organization that has been working to rebuild homes in Holy Cross for the last 100 days. Using Americorps workers and Salvation Army funds, they have maneuvered through various obstacles to come away having renovated almost 50 houses into comfortable, energy efficient homes for the people of Holy Cross. They will speak about their experience and the lessons learned that can be taken to other valuable projects. After a brief presentation, we will open the floor for questions and comments. Light refreshments will be served
