Global Green's Green Urbanism Program at Greenbuild


As in previous years, Global Green will have a significant presence at the USGBC's annual
Greenbuild conference
in Boston, MA. Below is a summary of some of Global Green's contributions
to the conference:

Walker Wells, Green Urbanism Program Director
Walker will be participating in an affordable housing symposium on Monday, November 17 by moderating a panel on data collection and facilitating a charrette. 

Ted Bardacke, Green Urbanism Program Senior Associate
Ted will be speaking on Thursday, November 20 as a part of the Green Homebuilders Day on using the LEED-Homes Rating System for apartment buildings. On Friday, November 21 he will be speaking about a Habitat for Humanity project in New York . Ted will also lead two public forums on the LEED for Neighborhood Development rating system on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Chelina Odbert, Green Urbanism Program Associate
A new member of the Global Green team, Chelina will join a panel on sustainable planning and development in developing countries, where she will discuss her work in Kenya.
