DECEMBER: Going Green Saves You Green!
We can show you how to save money on your utility bills. Join us for the first in our new series of green building workshops:
WHEN: Saturday, December 13th, 10am to 12pm
WHERE: Lower Ninth Ward Village, 1001 Charbonnet Street
TOPIC: Insulation, Air Sealing and Radiant Barriers
These workshops are free, and open to the public. Join us and fill out a survey for your entry to win a Green Building Kit valued at $100!
Also, coming up on Saturday, January 10th from 10am to 12pm at Israelite Baptist Church, 2100 Martin Luther King Boulevard.
NOVEMBER: Global Green's Build It Back Green team will be a part of this exciting Central City Event, and we hope to see you there!
The Oretha Castle Haley Merchant's Association and Main Street Initiative is hosting the 2nd Annual "Make a Joyful Noise Gospel and Arts Festival". The Boulevard will come alive with the inspirational sounds of gospel music along with visual artists and crafts people displaying their original works of art along O. C. Haley Blvd between Felicity and Euterpe Streets.
On Saturday, November 15, 2008 from 11 am to 6pm, Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard will vibrate with the sounds of Gospel music! The Ashe' Cultural Arts Center located at 1712 Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard will be the location for the Gospel Music performances as well as food, arts and crafts vendors from all over New Orleans. The festival is free and open to the public.
