April 4-5, 2009. Presented by New Orleans Botanical Garden and Global Green USA. The Green Fair, a new section of the City Park Spring Garden Show, at the Pavilion of Two Sisters in the Botanical Garden, presents two days of green building tips, solutions and design.
More than a dozen local non-profit green organizations, scores of recycled art craftspeople, and over 25 green vendors will participate in the event, making it the largest Green Fair in Louisiana’s history.
Inside the pavilion, vendors of sustainable building materials - all part of Global Green USA’s “Build It Back Green Initiative” - will be displaying their products and demonstrating the value of going green. Global Green will also be distributing a first time ever Green Building Guide of regional vendors who distribute green products at the Green Fair. April 4th and 5th, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
