Global Green USA's Policy and Legislative Affairs Department seeks an intern for a minimum of three months to assist with Global Green USA's various policy and advocacy initiatives on green schools/buildings, transportation, renewable energy, and climate change. This is an ongoing internship position.
Duties: Responsibilities include assisting in outreach and public awareness efforts, research on policy issues, attending meetings on relevant topics and general office administrative tasks.
Eligibility: Graduate or undergraduate. Academic credit possible.
Requirements: Positive attitude, ability to communicate effectively, and public speaking skills are important. Strong writing skills also important. Applicant should have knowledge of or interest in climate change, green building, transportation, renewable energy policy issues. Ability to work independently a must. Automobile preferred.
Time Commitment: Minimum 15 hours/week.
Location: Our office is located at 2218 Main Street, Santa Monica, CA 90405.
