Global Green USA seeks someone to work directly with the Chief Operating Officer (CFO) and the Office Manager in the support of the organization's administrative support structure specializing in the areas of human resources and accounting. This is a hands-on role within a multi-disciplinary team. Applicants should also have an interest in environmental/climate change issues.
Eligibility: Experience working at a nonprofit in the areas of accounting and human resource support and desire to work for an environmental organization.

Knowledge and experience with Quick Books.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable: Entering bills, invoices, employee reimbursements, credit card coding; making payments online and recording same over the phone or printing checks as needed; checking on vendor payments; reconciling payments to budget coding; communicating with vendors as needed; assisting with the creation and implementation of accounting policy and procedure; enters budgets into Quick Books; assisting with management of volunteers and interns.
Payroll: Timesheet management; payroll processing; Quickbooks data entry; producing payroll management reports; tracking of sick/vacation time.
Human Resources: Management of employee health benefits, enrolling, terminating answering questions, completion of paperwork; 401K management; issuance of W-2s; manage all human resource confidential personnel files; establishment of holiday schedules and assisting in the creation and implementation of human resource policy and procedure.
Risk Management: Management of insurance certificates, applications, renewals; assist in preparation of workers compensation audit and liaising with organization’s insurance carrier.
General Office: Filing, creating spreadsheets, bank deposits and related paperwork, updating program budgets; fixed asset management.
