Global Green USA, is seeking a Green Affordable Housing Assistant to support the Green Urbanism Program.
Duties: Conduct research, analysis for program publications and proposal materials. Assistant will provide technical and administrative support for LEED for Homes, LEED for Neighborhood Development and green school projects. Maintain project checklists throughout design and construction, verify energy modeling and solar output projection. Prepare project summary, qualifications and proposal materials.
Skills and Experience Requirements: Experience with LEED, preferably LEED for Homes and LEED for Neighborhood Development. Able to work independently and take initiative. Strong organizational and logistic skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical ability. Experience with the following programs: Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Time Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week.
Location: Our office is located at 2218 Main Street, Santa Monica, CA 90405.
