Database Administrator
Global Green USA (GGUSA) is seeking a Database Administrator to join the Development Department. This position will be responsible for the organization’s comprehensive stewardship and donor relations management programs, including gift entry, receipting, acknowledgement, and donor recognition. Under the direction of the COO & Director of Communications, this position is responsible for maintaining GGUSA’s databases (The Raiser’s Edge & Convio), driving our Membership Program, and providing direct professional support for Individual, Corporate, and Institutional giving programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the integrity of data in The Raiser’s Edge database
- Maintain data input and output processes, including interfaces with other systems (i.e., Convio, Quickbooks)
- Generate various standard and custom (ad hoc) outputs from The Raiser’s Edge, including queries and reports
- Assist in generation of various publications; coordinate assembly and distribution of donor and prospective donor materials
- Manage incoming and outgoing prospect and donor correspondence, including inquiries for information about programs and opportunities as seen on website or in print material
- Process donor gifts and membership applications
- Work collaboratively with members of the development team to achieve annual fundraising goals
- Assist internal staff with donor servicing program and data entry
- Supervise Communications interns
- Assist with managing media contacts
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- MUST be proficient on The Raiser’s Edge and have working knowledge of Convio; other IT experience, especially standard application (Excel, Access, etc) creation, use, and maintenance as well as data management.
- 1-3 years experience providing administrative support and/or high level constituent services, preferably in a fundraising capacity. Excellent written, verbal communication
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proven initiative; ability to multi-task, set priorities and work on a deadline.
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
- Strong computer skills: PC proficient and MAC familiar.
Compensation: Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Salary range $30,000-35,000. Position includes full benefits including 401k plan. EOE.
