Grant Researcher Internship (Los Angeles)
The Global Green USA Development department is offering an internship for undergraduate or graduate students interested in gaining practical development experience on topics of climate change, green building, green affordable housing, green schools, and energy policy. Interns participate in a variety of activities that support both organizational and individual development.
Duties:
- Researching and prospecting foundation funding opportunities as they relate Global Green’s programs and initiatives;
- Creating, maintaining and updating databases;
- Background, research and information calls.
Eligibility:
- Must be at least a junior undergraduate in good standing or a graduate student interested in sustainability, specifically that achieved through green building, environmental policy, urban planning, and related areas.
- Should have a background in communications, writing and or development within a non profit.
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently, be detail oriented and have the ability to take initiative on specific projects.
- Must be locally based in Los Angeles.
Time Commitment:
Must commit to at least 10 hours a week for a period of 6 months. Exact hours to be determined with intern and academic institution.
