New Jersey Children's Museum Donates to Global Green

New Jersey Children's Museum has generously donated $500 to Global Green's New Orleans office. The money was donated from their Hyberfolic Funnel exhibit at the museum. Children roll coins down the funnel which represents the solar system and its gravitational pull of the planets around the Sun. Both fun and educational, the money collected is donated to chariites, usually local.

In February, the museum had their annual Mardi Gras celebration weekend. The children who visited the museum were given beads, and the opportunity to make their own Mardi Gras masks. They then participated in a lively Mardi Gras parade. Because of the connection to Mardi Gras, the museum decided to donate all the funnel money collected during the month of February to a New Orleans organization.

They chose Global Green USA and included information at the museum on the work Global Green has accomplished in New Orleans.

While the donation may be small, it was sent with a big heart from the children and their families of northern New Jersey, and is very much appreciated! We thank Lisa Pallitotto, the manager of the New Jersey Children's Museum, and everyone else who made this kind donation possible.
