ebay

Global Green honored former eBay CEO, John Donahoe at our 2010 Sustainable Design Awards in New York for the company's commitment to creating a marketplace where people can make money from items that would otherwise have been thrown away. Through the years, Global Green and eBay have teamed up on a number of charitable fundraising programs through the eBay website to raise awareness about environmental issues. For example, in 2010, eBay auctioned off a sustainable house created by Dwell on Design and Ecofabulous and donated a portion of the proceeds to Global Green, and, during Earth Month 2011, eBay generously donated $5 to Global Green for every broken electronic turned in for recycling through eBay's program.
