GLOBAL GREEN USA ANNOUNCES FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES FOR GREEN REBUILDING OF HAITI WITH SBE & ACTOR WALTON GOGGINS

BENEFIT SCREENING OF INDEPENDENT SPIRIT NOMINATED FILM “THAT EVENING SUN” WITH GOGGINS & HAL HOLBROOK ON FEB 10TH
   
Los Angeles, CA – January 29, 2010 – Today Global Green USA announced the launch of its text to donate campaign where the public can text SBEHAITI to 85944 to help raise desperately needed funds to provide emergency “sustainable aid” including solar powered flashlights and water purification.  Funds will also help Global Green collaborate with on the ground organizations to help rebuild green homes, schools and communities.

Global Green has partnered with SBE, a Los Angeles based luxury hospitality and development company, to create “SBE for Haiti,” a charitable platform driven to raise funds for Haiti relief aid.  Through this campaign, SBE is encouraging its employees, partners, vendors, and guests to contribute to “SBE for Haiti” and will be matching 100% of all employee contributions.  Additionally, SBE will donate a percentage of all profits from their restaurant and nightlife properties to the cause, and will hold a “Haiti Hour” at MI-6 from 10-11 PM tonight with all profits going directly to the cause.

“I’m so pleased to help support Global Green USA and SBE in this innovative green relief program for Haiti,” said longtime Global Green supporter Walton Goggins. “From rebuilding New Orleans green to building new green schools and affordable housing here in Los Angeles and around the country, there’s no more effective organization then Global Green and I urge people to help them bring their expertise to the people of Haiti by making a donation today.”
