Passing of Jonathan Tucker
Jonathan Tucker, a world-renowned expert on chemical and biological weapons and nonproliferation policy, died this past week at the age of 56 at his home in Washington, D.C. He was a close colleague and advisor to the Security and Sustainability Program, and worked with our Washington, D.C. office and Green Cross affiliates in Russia and Switzerland to help secure and eliminate Cold War stockpiles of dangerous weapons of mass destruction. He will be sorely missed by us at Global Green and many other organizations and colleagues in the security and environmental fields. My full obituary appears in the "Bulletin of Atomic Scientists."
