Food Service Recycling Pilot

In our ongoing efforts to help reduce the food service waste that gets dumped in our landfills, we announced a 150-store pilot program in New York City for quick-service restaurants interested in greening their businesses. To get things rolling, the Pret A Manger chain has committed to having 25 of its New York City locations participate. Pret A Manger, Starbucks, and other members of our Coalition for Resource Recovery (CoRR) have already worked with us on previous pilot programs--all part of our efforts to find national recycling solutions. For this phase, 150 containers (pictured) are being donated for use by CleanRiver.
