Join us for a Green Rebuilding & Fire Resilience Workshop

The devastation caused by the Woolsey Fire provides a chance to rebuild in an intentional, forward thinking way - establishing the foundation for a resilient and green future.

Global Green, the U.S. Green Building Council - LA, and the City of Malibu are working together to provide FREE, one-on-one, green building and design assistance to owners of properties damaged by the Woolsey Fire. Technical assistance will be provided by LEED Accredited, green building and energy experts.

Topics Covered in the Workshop include:

    • Fire resistance design and landscaping

    • Energy efficiency strategies and rebates

    • Solar thermal (hot water) systems

    • Photovoltaic (PV) systems

    • Energy storage

    • Innovative uses of natural gas

    • Water efficiency strategies

    • Net Zero Energy

    • Other green building design support

    • LEED or GreenPoint Rated certification
