GLOBAL GREEN USA HELPS WIN HISTORIC INCREASE FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN BUILDINGS NATIONWIDE

(Charlotte, NC) – Code officials from across the nation voted today to increase energy efficiency standards in new buildings by nearly 30%.   This historic vote represents the largest increase in building code efficiency since 1975.  The code, called the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) is used in forty-seven states and the District of Columbia.

SOLAR SCHOOLS FOR SOUTHLAND STUDENTS

(Santa Monica, CA) – September 2, 2010 – Global Green USA and the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District celebrated last night’s board passage of the School District’s decision to adopt a plan for installing solar panels on nine elementary schools that will generate nearly two-thirds of all the power needs for the schools, save the district $2.8 million - $5.1 million dollars and reduce 24,000 tons of CO2 emissions over the next twenty five years.
